If the fault current is 2000 amps, the relay setting 50% and the C.T. ratio is 400/5, then the plug setting multiplier will be

A.      25 A
B.      15 A
C.      50 A

D.      10 A

    CT rated current is 5A
    relay setting is 50%, relay will operate for=5*50/100=2.5A
    fault current is 2000A
    so plug setting multipier = fault current/realy setting*CT ratoio
    =2000/2.5*400/5
    =10A
